RUSTENBURG-The University of South Africa (Unisa) will meet with South African Student Congress (Sasco) on Tuesday to discuss the grievances that have been send to the University this comes after the student barricaded the entrance Sunnyside campus in Tshwane.
Students are demanding that National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas) pay for certain thing that are being excluded for UNISA but are included for the other higher learning institution which include text book, food vouchers and laptops.
According Sasco spokesperson, Martin Ramotshela students at Unisa have send a memorandum of demand and they have a meeting with the institution do discuss the demand tabled by the student.
"We urged student to register online on the Unisa website which what they have been doing since yesterday successfully so.”
