The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the dates, venues and kick-off times for the upcoming MTN8 quarter-final fixtures.
All four MTN8 quarter-final fixtures have been scheduled to take place over the weekend of 14 and 15 August 2021.
A statement by the league said Lamontville Golden Arrows and SuperSport United will kick things off at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal, with kick off set for 3pm on 14 August.
Later at 6pm, defending champions Orlando Pirates will begin their title defence in what is named “The Original Soweto Derby” when they host Swallows FC at the Orlando Stadium.
The much-anticipated clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs will get things running on Sunday, 15 August at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville at 3pm.
While the fixture between AmaZulu FC and Cape Town City at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at 6pm will wrap up the tournament’s quarterfinals.
The MTN8 is a knockout competition featuring eight teams that finished in the top half of the PSL table the previous season.
